7 embryos

I was hoping for more, but it is what it is. 9 of the 15 eggs were mature and 7 fertilized normally. I wonder if they triggered her too early, but oh well. He said if there are 3-4 good 8-cellers on Wednesday that he will push me to a Friday transfer, but if there are only 2 good ones and the rest look poopy (his words haha), that they will bring me in for a Wednesday transfer. Unfortunately this means I'm going to have to tell my boss something in case I have to be gone Wednesday. I had scheduled only Friday off hoping and praying we'd get to a 5day transfer. Now it's not that certain.

My hope for having frosties may be dying, now I just hope for 2 good ones to put back and twins. Then we can get it all over with in one shot.

7 embryos is good...keep the faith. Your numbers sound an awful lot like ours, and I remember the despair I felt every step of the way. ONLY 14? Then, ONLY 7? Then, ONLY 2? Then, NONE (we didn't have any for freeze, either.) You may remember all of this. I posted frantically every day.

But just a few weeks later... WHAT? TWO???

Prayers and positive thoughts coming your way.

I agree with Tracy...7 embryos IS good!

Last week at my injection class I mentioned I'd done previous IVF cycles so after the class several people asked me about it and one asked me for advice. My best advice? Don't get too hung up on the numbers! (I have to remind myself of this, also.) I don't recall how many eggs I had last year but it was far less than 15 and then only 3 fertilized and on day 3 only one looked good and...it worked :) Your odds are FAR better than mine were.

I'm praying for you...and the embryos!

Woot!!!! How exciting. You know, I had 15 at ER and 9 were mature. And I ended up with 7 embies.

Maybe that's a lucky set of numbers!!! :) :) :)

I'm wishing you tons of luck!

7 embryos is nothing to sneeze at! I think that's a great turn out. I hope you make it to the 5 day transfer with lots of beautiful embryos to choose from. :) Congratulations.

Seven is lucky! You can name them after the 7 dwarves. Ha! Hoping they are all sturdy little embies and they all make it to Wednesday. This is a really hard time to not second guess things, try to just wait for the numbers to come in. Live it up your last few days before you are PUPO!
