I'm so ready to go home
and the countdown has begun. Hopefully by 1pm I will be in the car headed home. Of course I'll drive right into the rush hour traffic in Detroit, but I don't care. I don't want to wait 5 more hours to leave just to miss the traffic. It's been a good week and my father is doing soooooo much better. He even came down the stairs today by himself (which he is NOT supposed to do). He is progressing physically very well. However he doesn't like the Physical Therapists who come to the house, and so far we've had 2 of them this week and he is now going to call his doctor to fire the second one too! Apparently he says the PAs are telling him to do things differently than he learned in the class, and they are telling him he should be doing more exercises on one hand, and then telling him he is doing too much on the other. Personally I think it is just my dad being grumpy, but who knows. I've been working in the office and not participating with his therapy so I don't really know. I do know that my father can be a critical person. Needless to say I'm looking forward to going home and seeing Tony.

Sound like a very difficult week for everyone! Nothing makes you appreciate home more than being away.
BTW...It's me, Amber..I changed my sign-on name as well as my ID photo.
Hope you're home and happy! As much as I love my parents, I can only take so much, especially when they're being cranky. Enjoy getting back to normal!
There's a saying in my family..."Family is like fish. Both start to stink after three days." :)
Hope you have a great weekend back at home, and am glad your dad is doing better.
