Time flies by when you are having fun! Had a good weekend. Watched the Detroit Red Wings win on Saturday night! Woo hoo, 1 win away from the Stanley Cup. Also met 4 other bloggers yesterday for lunch! It was so much fun. In attendance besides myself were KC from Becoming a Different Person, Emily from Apron Strings for Emily, Sara from Gas Passer aka UUer, and Tracy from The Wonder Twins. We had a great time meeting in person and talking. We knew so much about each other already from the blogs, but it was still cool to meet these fabulous ladies in person, hear their voices, watch their mannerisms, and hear more personal stuff that is not published on our blogs. I definitely hope we get together again soon....and now that I've reassured my husband that none of you are "crazy internet phsychos", I'd even love to have you over for dinner at my house. Although it will be an indoor dinner since we are still deckless. ha ha. KC - best wishes today for your beta. Sara - you'll be in my thoughts on Wednesday. Emily - enjoy your getaway to Florida this week! Tracy - keep incubating those beautiful babies and I hope your shower is tons of fun. Io and I are still looking forward to our trek to Freeland in July!
In other news, Tony and I meet with the counselor on Thursday night as part of our DE IVF requirements. I'm looking forward to the "what/when do you tell the child" conversation. Next step after Thursday will be to put our $2000 deposit down and get matched with a donor. Tony got a new job that starts next Monday and apparently it will cover 50% of our DE IVF (although I don't know if I really believe they'll cover the donor, but he asked and they said yes). I also still have a bit of insurance left which will cover my ultrasounds and most of my transfer. All good.
I did end up joining the YMCA, so tonight starts my cardio routine. I'll be doing cardio kickbox tonight, tone and sculpt tomorrow, and the super fun Zumba class on Wednesday night. Thursday I'll either do kickboxing again or go to yoga. I still have 5 yoga classes to use up at the yoga studio. I'm hoping to lose 2 pounds by the end of this week.

Your workout schedule sounds so fun! I can't wait to hear how it goes on Thursday.
It was so nice meeting you face to face yesterday. I enjoyed myself SO much, and Scott was reassured that there wasn't a psycho in the bunch. LOL!
xo
If you're ever in Rome (maybe insurance will cover that?? Papal blessing for good health??) come on by our house for a nice Italian meal. My hubby makes a killer ratatouille!!
Glad you had fun and that you're kicking some butt at the Y!!
Wow, sounds like the Bloger lunch went well! Glad to hear things are moving forward with the donor cycle!
Hey Kelly,
Thanks for your advice on my blog! I will definitely ask about doing the estrace towards the end of this cycle. I have an appointment on Wed. so I need to start a list of questions (otherwise I always forget to ask something!).
I had so much fun meeting all of you too! We should definitely do it again. I'd offer up my house as a meeting place too! (we don't have a deck either but we do have a covered front porch that works just fine).
Good luck with your meeting Thursday! I can't wait to hear all about it! Your new excercise plan sounds good too. I need to get back into it myself. Especially since I have a whole month to get back on the wagon. If I could just shake this virus I will be rearing to go!
Wheee! I am so excited to meet you guys. Tracy's kids better stay put and not give her any more trouble...
Also can I just say that I want to say the word "zumba" over and over again?
I wish I could have made it. It seems I have been nothing but miserable since allergy season started...
thanks for leaving such kind comments on my blog.
when your blog opened up, i went AWWWW... immediately, just seeing your lovely wedding picture...
very sweet and i'm hoping for hope for you.
xoxo.
Love your ambition and goal! Looking forward to seeing your progress. I keep telling myself I'm going to take off these 10 IVF induced pounds, but it just isn't happening.
Good luck on the workout schedule, that sounds great! This weekend was a blast getting to meet you guys. We definitely need to do this again soon. Honestly it was some of the most fun I've had in awhile. Thanks for the well wishes. Things went pretty well, as well as things can go right now I guess. But it's nice to know you were thinking of me :-)
