Need a favor!
My IRL friend Anne, who reads this blog, had an accident on Friday night. She fell off her bike - her foot got caught in the pedal and she hit the ground face first. She had her helmet on, but that didn't really help her face. She called me Saturday morning, now swollen and in pain, as she was on her way to the emergency room. Unfortunately I was already in Port Huron at my store (1 hr. away), so I couldn't go with her in the near term. I called my darling husband and he went to Crittendon Hospital to sit with Anne. Fortunately she doesn't have a concussion or fracture, but her faced is really messed up. Looks like she started a new hobby called Boxing. It is going to be many weeks of healing before she is out of pain and her face is back to normal. I was wondering if my incredible blogland girlfriends would leave a nice comment for Anne here on my blog. I'll make sure she reads them. I know it would make her feel better. Thanks!

Aw, that's terrible! I'm not sure if Anne has a blog or not, so I'll leave it here? Anne, I hope you're feeling better soon and feeling like your old self again. In the meantime, take it easy and pamper yourself a bit. Maybe a nice new pair of shoes? That always makes me feel better. I always say, when your feet are happy...so are you! Take care, and that sounds painful! Hugs!
Anne--I am so sorry to hear about your spill--Im hoping that you get waited on hand and foot and get to enjoy some R&R while you are getting back to 100%! What a sweet friend, Mrs. Soapchick is!
Ack! My face hurts just thinking about it! Anne, you must be pretty rocking if you're a friend of Kelly's. I'm so sorry that you smashed your face. Perhaps you can make something of it...have people bring you flowers and chocolates. Guilt friends and family into doing your housework for you. Tell rude people making inquires into what happened that it was a bar fight and that the other guy looks even worse.
I hope you get better quickly!
Poor Anne! I'm not the most coordinated and usually have some sort of injury, but that sounds rough. Drink some wine until the pain wears off.
OMG! You are all wonderful! Shoes, pampering, wine, relaxing, flowers, chocolate, guilting others into cleaning... It's like you all know me!! Hehe! I LOVE IT. Kelly is the bomb. Thank you for the thoughtful wishes. I feel so loved :-) XOXO Anne
Oh, Anne!
I'm so sorry you've had this accident and are in pain. I know it's going to seem like a while before things are back to normal, but time WILL pass...hang in there in the meantime.
Anne,
I so sorry to hear about your accident. Rest up and take good care of yourself. Know that I'm thinking of you.
XOXO
Anne--I am so sorry about your accident. I'm sending good thoughts for a speedy recovery.
HI Anne,
I am so sorry to hear avout your accident. Get well soon!
I hope you feel better soon! I have really "messed up my face" twice. Once, I was running, tripped, and literally did not get my hands out at all and my face hit the pavement hard. I had a black eye and a gash across my upper lip that required stitches. The other time, I had a major ski accident which required me to be transported by ski patrol on a backboard and then taken to the ER by ambulance. I had 2 black eyes and various abrasions from that one. The amazing thing is...the face actually heals pretty quickly. It has such a good blood supply that it does tend to heal better than other areas. Please have a quick recovery.
OUCH! So sorry to hear about you spill, Anne. Hope you feel much better soon ... but I've got a feeling that Kelly and Hubby are spoiling you rotten!
Deua Anne, I hope you feel better soon! you have a true friend that really cares about you!
