Potential Polyp = delayed again
Went to RMA this morning for bloodwork and ultrasound after 4 days on Estrace and I have a lovely potential polyp in my uterus. Dr. Miller instructed me to stop the Estrace, but continue on Lupron. I go back on Tuesday for a Saline Sonogram to verify if it is indeed a polyp, and if so I'll be scheduled for outpatient surgery (hysteroscopy) to remove. Just fabulous. This is what I get for getting ahead of myself and talking about baby names. Ugh. So we are delayed - at least until Tuesday and if by some magic that huge thing I saw on the ultrasound screen is not a polyp - well then we can start. However I'm guessing it's a polyp and it will be coming out. I'm estimating a 10 day to 2 week delay before stims start. I sent Eggchick a text and the nurse will call her too, but she will stay on birth control pills for now, and keep taking her Lupron. I guess the only good thing is that she will be totally done with her class before she starts the stims! Patience, patience, patience. Ugh!!!!!!

Ok i have a really funny/personal question. The donor is engaged right, i think i read that. So during this whole time she and her fiance can't have sex, right? So that she doesn't accidentally get pregnant with his sperm?
I saw this on a tv show the other day (Ugly betty) and thought about you.
Good question Becky. Yes Eggchick is engaged and she lives with her fiancee. Well the docs haven't told us that she can't have sex, but she's on birth control and now lupron, so I'm pretty sure pregnancy would be a miracle for her. Let's hope that doesn't happen - if so I'd be really cursed.
What a drag - I hate polyps and all their delaying tactics! But I'm so impressed you are able to see a silver lining through it all; seems like the donor will be more relaxed if her class is over during the stims, but I understand how hard it is when you just want to get going!

Ugh. IVF sure is a lesson in patience, isn't it? Hang in there...maybe you'll have good news at your next appointment. I'm still going to vote on names. What will you do for a boy's name???
Oh, Kelly that sucks!!! I hope the polyp (if it is a polyp) doesn't cause too much delay. Will you be allowed to go straight into the IVF after its removal?

How's yoga been going? I saw your posts on Facebook the other day. That would be so cool to be a yoga instructor! You would be GREAT!
