We got to Beaumont Hospital at 10 AM on Friday and they took me right in to get ready. I swear I must have seen 10 people before my surgery - several nurses, 2 CRNAs, the Anesthesiologist, the HOT resident who would be assisting Dr. Wolf, and Dr. Wolf herself. No wonder they need more people in the medical field - it takes an army! They were all really nice and Tarzan got to come back and see me for half hour before they wheeled me into the operating room. I have to say I love anesthesia - maybe in a previous life I was a drug addict because I love the feeling right before you go to sleep. It was even better because Dr. Wolf gave me a foot massage while the anesthesia was going in - it was like I was at the spa! I just love her!! Anyway I said goodnight, and then I woke up in recovery an hour later. I felt groggy, but only mild cramping, nothing major. We were home by 3 PM and I laid in bed, watched movies and texted Kacy for the rest of the day! The next morning I woke up and felt good as new! I've had some bleeding, but very minor and I'd say it's pretty much gone now. I have to schedule my post op appt. for late this week or early next. Then we can find out when the DE IVF schedule can start anew.
I felt so good that we went to Port Huron and Lexington on Saturday. Then we went up north on Sunday. Blog posts with pictures coming soon. Thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it. Okay, picture down below.

The polyp is best seen in the top left photo. The second photo you can see the entrance to my fallopian tube - totally cool!

Those pictures are really cool! It amazes me what technology can do!
I'm so glad your surgery went so well!! It sounds like you're doing awesome! Can't wait to see pics of up north (hehe all non MI people don't get the "up north" thing), they'll get me excited for my up coming move!
I'm glad that your surgery went well and that you've felt so great. Sounds like you had a nice trip afterwards as well.
Neat! I am glad this is out of the way and life is moving on.
What a relief to get that thang out! And I'm so glad you felt good enough for a little va-ca, sounds like a blast. We live close to the bald eagle nesting ground (winter) so they are everywhere in Jan-Feb. Didn't know they were so far east (I'm in WA).
I can't believe you have pictures of it!
Glad it all went without a hitch! I don't think your polyp is gross, actually its kinda cool! ;o) I love my pics of my insides from my lap. Also, the pics of Northern Michigan are breathtaking! I love Charlie in the pond, my fav!
Ah, I'm so behind in my blogging! Yay for a successful surgery. The polyp pics are very cool. I'm hoping that you'll have great success now that you've got a polyp free uterus! Good luck.
very cool. thanks for posting potential grossness!!
