The earthquake that hit Italy last night is in the same region as Tarzan's parents' hometown is - the Abruzzo region and L'Aquila province. Lots of worried phone calls were made this morning, but fortunately the town of Pacentro was not hit and Tarzan's relatives are fine.
I'm somewhat frustrated with the requirements for our donor cycle on seeing a social worker. We saw her last summer, and our donor is going to see her on Thursday to take the Egg Donor Evaluation. After that Tarzan and I have to meet her again, and then finally there will be a third meeting where we all meet with the social worker - me, Tarzan and our donor. I suppose they want to make sure we've all thought this out, but it seems a little overkill to me.

That would be frustrating having so many meetings!
I'm glad your hubby's family in Italy is ok. I'm sure there were some scary moments.
Stimming is going well, but is making me very moody! I'm looking forward to the retrieval, which should hopefully be sometime soon.
I'm so glad your in-laws in Italy are ok! We are waiting to hear back from Mike's cousins about his extended family. They are in Ovindily (sp?) and I guess that is somewhat close to L'Aquill also. But I'm glad to hear that even some nearby towns were not hit that hard...whew!
That sucks about all the meetings with the donor. Obviously you did your homework in finding her in the first place...definitely overkill!
By the way, I'm still loving the yoga! I officially signed up for 2 months unlimited...yay! Now I am just waiting to get laid off so I don't have to squeeze it in!
Definitely keep us posted on your cycle! I can't wait to get to the ER and ET parts. (and I'm sure you can't either!!)
Hugs!
Are you going with a known donor? I guess I missed that somehow - but obviously if you are meeting with her you will know her!
We only had one meeting with the shrink - I guess they either thought we were fine or beyond hope. It really seems like overkill to have that many meetings, although one with the 3 of you might be good since it is open. Maybe your dr just bought a boat?
what a relief no one you know was hurt. they must be scared out of their wits, though!!
We're far away and we got shaken pretty bad. can't imagine what it was like for people close by.
Ick - more meetings. But I'm so glad that your hubby's family is doing well. That is scary stuff. Hope you're having a good week!
We had pretty much the same series of meetings with the clinic psychologist when we worked with a known donor. It will go very quickly - don't worry!
