We met with the social worker today - me, Tarzan and our donor. It went very well and was over in 20 minutes! We thought she would want to hear more about how we planned to communicate in the future, but really she just asked us each if we had any concerns, and asked our donor what she would tell her daughter about any half-siblings she may have if the cycle is successful. The only concerns that Tarzan brought up was our donor's ability to take her shots while attending her intensive course and then going to work afterwards, and any stress she would be under. Our donor said that the stims don't really start until the last week of her course and she has it all worked out when she'll take her shots, and she even told her manager at her job, just so she is aware. She'll only be on stims 4 nights and then her course will be over. We did ask her after we left the social worker's office if she wanted to delay the cycle by a few days until her course was over and she said no - she claims she has it all under control. Let's hope and pray so. She convinced me. I'm happy that once those follicles are getting really mature, she'll be done with her class and can hopefully relax a bit.

I think the birth control pills are making me more sensitive to pain because my teeth are killing me again. I have a lot of teeth sensitivity to start with, but it has become pain, not simple sensitivity for the past couple of days. Tylenol has once again become my friend. I seriously would like a root canal on every one of my top molars so I would never feel tooth pain again. I do need to get into the dentist in the next couple of weeks before the cycle gets into full gear, but my dentist closed a couple of months ago, so I have to find a new one. I'm sure nothing is wrong - it's just my gum recession and normal sensitivity, but I usually go to the dentist every 4 months because of my teeth issues anyway.
I tried to create a business account on Facebook today for my Backyard Soaps business, but stupid FB said that my email info@backyardsoaps.com is not valid. What's up with that? Of course I found no way to contact customer service to ask for help, they have only FAQs which serve no purpose. i may have to create the account with my existing email address for which I already have a FB account, but I wanted to create something that other people in my company could manage as well, and I don't want them on my personal FB page. Any ideas?

Sounds like things went well with your donor and social worker! I'm thinking of you often and praying. I've got a great dentist...I'll email you his info. Michelle and I both go and we love him!

This may sound stupid, but she's Italian right? What about calling her either Italy or something else Italian-ish? Sorry if that's lame. ;)

So glad your donor meeting went well. I'm sure she will do the stims fine during her class, it IS stressful but she has a plan and it really doesn't take much except remembering to do it!
I like the idea of calling your donor something Italian. And I have no idea about the fb account. I can't get my account to work either! Good luck.
I can't believe I haven't checked in sooner! I'm glad your appointment went well with the socialworker/donor. No specific donor nickname ideas, but a nice Italian name sounds good to me too.
I feel you on the tooth pain. I'm up in NY and one of my molars started hurting sooo bad. I had to pick a mystery endodontist to perform an emergency root canal last Friday. I'm so happy I did! I have to go back tomorrow to finish up with him and then have it capped when I get home. Hope your mouth feels better!!!
I'm glad things are going well with your donor. I'll work on thinking of a creative, yet respectful, nickname for your donor. How about "Honey" since she seems so sweet?
