Dinner with Donor
I'm doing better girls, thanks for your nice comments. Our donor and her toddler daughter came over for dinner last night and we had a great time. We chatted through dinner, agreed on our contract, went over all of the medicines, prepared for our session with the social worker (when all 3 of us go), and came up with our new schedule, etc. Tarzan took her daughter outside to play with the neighbor kids and climb all over the jungle gyms. She is 18 months old and so much fun, as well as adorable with curly dark brown hair and big brown eyes. We had a great night, and feel even more bonded with our donor. She's a fantastic young woman, just has a lot on her plate. She's been playing phone tag all week with the nurses on our new schedule, so I'm just going to email them, cc her and it will be all set. We are looking at just a 2.5 week delay. Instead of her starting stims on May 1st, she'll start them on May 18th which is the last week of her intensive nursing assistant class. The only goofy thing will be she either has to take her shots at around 11pm or midnight when she gets home from work, or every morning at 6 AM, so I need to talk to the nurse to see which they will prefer.

Wow, what a busy girl she is. Glad you've regrouped and refocused.
Thinking about you and Tarzan!
How exciting to get things all straightened out with the donor! That is something I never had to worry about with an anonymous D, but you just worry all the time that they aren't following through! Hoping it all works out beautifully!
Glad things seem to be falling into place!
Whew, I'm glad you've nailed down all the details and she's not flaking out. I'm so excited for your donor cycle to begin!
I'm glad that things are getting straightened out with your donor. Man, if only things were easier, huh? I'm glad you guys had a nice dinner also. Middle of May is coming up so soon - I'm really excited for you!
Well, I'm certainly glad all went well. Sounds like things are rolling very well. Hope that it all turns out just great!
Yay! I'm so glad you had such a nice visit with the donor! I'm also really glad that it ends up only being a 2.5 week delay. (although it still does suck that it has to be delayed at all considering you've been waiting forever already)
I'm glad you were able to go over things with her though! Good for you for taking the initiative! I'm sure that helped give you some peace of mind too!
Hope you're having a great day!!!
Hugs!
Sounds like things are working out, the next few months are going to be very interesting......
Sounds like a wonderful dinner. I'm so glad things got straightened out!!
A 2.5 week delay really isn't too bad at all!! I'm so excited for you guys to walk down this path!
XOXO
