Fabulous Weekend!

Anne, Suzanne and I had an AWESOME girls half weekend! I've just been too busy to get on my blog to write about it. We checked into the hotel and made ourselves gorgeous. Then we enjoyed a decadent dinner in the hotel restaurant called The Berkshire - ooh la la. When we sat down the restaurant was so quiet - all the other guests were enjoying very quiet dinners. Well that didn't last too long once we sat down and the wine started flowing! The food was divine, and we laughed so much I had tears rolling down my face. Here are a few pictures:

After dinner we went to the hotel bar and danced to the fabulous singer! This is when the night started to get really interesting! This one older lady kept calling us the Sex in the City Girls! A few sharky men tried to dance with us, but we kept them away.



Eventually these girls who were attending a wedding in the hotel started dancing with us, bought us shots, etc. Well then the one seen here was dancing closely to Anne, well in fact she gave us all lap dances. Anne pretended she was sick from drinking too much and we took her up to our room. Suzanne and I thought that Anne was overreacting and that the girl was just being silly, but apparently she propositioned Anne to go to her room! OMG it was soooo funny. I am definitely far removed from the bar scene in my normal life, and honestly I was never into it even in my 20s, but boy o boy how out of touch I am with what's in "fashion". Apparently this is quite a common thing now! We had a good laugh over it.


Saturday we got up had a great breakfast at the hotel and then went for our massages! I hadn't had a massage in 5 months so it was soooooooo relaxing. Sunday I went up to Port Huron and celebrated my niece's 16th birthday (which is today, the 16th). Great weekend and what a way to greet my 40s!

Oh and for those of you wondering about Anne, she is doing well, but still waiting for the results of the gene test to determine her treatment!
