I went in for my progesterone check this morning and soon I'm heading for a massage. My beta is scheduled for next Wednesday April 23rd, however I will be in Rochester, New York for work all next week, so I have to wait until Saturday the 26th. I'm going to take a couple HPTs with me to test earlier. My husband had to go to Mexico on Monday so I've been giving myself the PIO shots for the last 2 nights - it wasn't bad because I froze my bum first and then used the mirror to do the stabbing! ha ha.
I had acupuncture before the transfer and after. However I couldn't hold it and so 10 minutes after she put the needles in post-transfer I asked for a bedpan. She had to take all the needles out, then I used the bedpan which was such a relief. My poor husband he had to help me wipe and remove the bedpan to give to the nurse. Ha ha. I told him it was good practice for when I am an old lady and he has to change my diapers. Has anyone else had to do that or am I the only wimpy one? Anyway then she put the needles back in for another 15 minutes.
Here are a couple of goofy pictures from transfer day. My husband looks so funny!!! One of these days I need to put some makeup and pressed powder on my face in some of these pictures! Geez!

OMG! Love the pictures!! I wish Cole and I had done that. Not sure if we will this time, but I'll keep that in mind.
Bed rest is definitely not fun and it also made me have greater appreciation for all the women on long bed rests.
Not sure if you remember, but I had a horrible time with the full bladder thing. I peed so many times before the transfer and still thought I was going to pee on the table.
You guys look so cute and happy!
Love the pictures! I hope you and your husband both have a safe trip for work. It must be hard to be apart while you're waiting. I can't wait to hear how things are going, and i'm glad your couch rest is done. I wish we had taken pictures before our transfer too!
Great pictures for the scrapbook, you both look so happy!
SO cute. We did pictures at our IUI, and I thought about it for IVF, but never did. Maybe we'll do it this time=)
I am a picture hound! My husband thinks I am a Kook for always taking pictures, but I figure one day someone will be happy I documented all of this stuff. If I could only figure out a way to transform the blog into a hard copy.
Anyway, glad you are up and about and sounding calm and rested. You are in my thoughts each day.
You guys are really cute! It never occurred to me to take pictures, but maybe I will!
HA! I love the pictures! Too cute!
I do remember the full bladder thing, but I got to go after the 30 min waiting period. I think I drank like 50 oz of water that morning. I didnt do accupuncture the day of my transfer. Logistically, I couldnt make it work out.
Hugs and Prayers,
Hollie
I think you guys look GREAT!!!! I can't wait for you to find out. Will you be posting from the road?
I love the pics! Looking forward to the POSITIVE news on the 23rd!
Glad things are going well. I agree, those women who have to have bed rest, God love them. It must be hard.
Cute photos!
Are you hanging in there okay? Just sending you some hugs for your wait :-)
very cute!! can't wait for more baby pix too!
I love the pix. I've never thought to take any.
You did well to last even 10 mins into acupuncture without a wee. I have to go ASAP after transfer. The last time they made me lie there a little while but generally i'm straight to the bathroom.
I've everything crossed for good news for you
