8 seems to be the magic number!

Ultrasound this morning showed 8 follicles measuring between 14 and 20. Still a few more at 10, but I don't know if they will catch up in time. Final night of Follistim, Hcg, and Ganilerex is tonight. Go in tomorrow morning for bw and ultrasound, and then trigger is tomorrow night. Retrieval will indeed be on Wednesday. Although I would've liked more than 8, at least it's double what I had in October. For an old lady of 39, it's about all my ovaries can do anymore. Hoping there are 3-4 good embryos that come out of those 8 follicles!

How exciting! You have a lot of follies in the running.

You may surprise yourself with a couple extra eggs at retrieval time...some of mine had a growth spurt at the end. Either way, 8 is good, and yes, 3-4 embryos would be perfect.

OH, I can't wait for you!!!

That's great news. When I triggered I only had three to four in the range and they got five the day of so eight is great! I can't wait to hear how your week is going...how are you holding up? I'll be stalking your site for updates...stalking in only the kindest hormonal way!

EIGHT IS GREAT!! And I agree with tracy, you might have a few extra when you go in there. For me, they actually couldnt see them all on ultrasound.
Wishing you all the best for Wednesday! HUGS!
