Well I went in for my bloodwork and ultrasound after 5 days of bravelle/menopur stims and I don't think it sounded too good, even though the nurse said it was fine. I only had 2 follicles on the left measuring 9 and 10 mm. I had 3 on the right measuring 5,6 and 10. Okay so I don't get it because at my baseline ultrasound I had 4 follices on the left. Where did they go? I should have asked her that. I will ask her this afternoon because I am confused. She said she would call me this afternoon after talking to the doctor. I have to go get more meds, I only got 5 days previously because the pharmacy lady is trying to play tricks with my insurance coverage and only get the bare minimum we need so I don't go over my insurance limit.
I just always assumed I'd be a good responder, not a poor one. I've always been so absolutely normal in my menstrual cycles, no issues ever. Hmmm...maybe it's this age thing, or maybe the lupron...I don't know. Oh well, I just have to wait and see what happens. Honestly a retrieval next week is better for my schedule rather than this week anyway. We have Happy Apple Days in downtown Port Huron and so my store is going to be busy. Hopefully we have a rockin day with sales and then next week I'll be calmer and have less going on.

Ah, but y'know, this is your first IVF and what they're doing is the 'standard' treatment. Your protocols may need to be tweaked, but so far you're doing absolutely fine. They're growing at a steady rate, none of them racing ahead to gigantor size as what frequently happens. As for follicle #4, the tech may have missed it. Don't worry too much, and take it easy!
