Day 3 bloodwork and ultrasound
This morning I went to the doctor's office and had my blood drawn for my Cycle Day 3 baseline information. Then I had an ultrasound by nurse Susan. She was actually really nice to me this morning, I was shocked. The last couple of times she seemed sort of cold and not too friendly. I've concluded that she must be a morning person because she was sooooo much more chipper today. She put the dildo cam up my hoohah and found my uterus - she said the lining is thin....just like it's supposed to be. Then she located my left ovary and I already had 4 or so follicles showing up. She said that is great news that it means I will do well with the drug stimulation. It took her a little longer to find my right ovary and apparently the fact that I had a full bladder made it more difficult for her. So next time I have to remember to go to the bathroom beforehand. When she found the right one I didn't see more than one follicle, so maybe my right ovary won't cooperate as much. However if the left one does....well hey that's enough. She said she would call me this afternoon after reviewing the bloodwork and would give me permission to start my injections tonight! I can't wait! I'm all excited.

Hi there! I'm from Michigan, too...
Good luck with your cycle. I'm at the tail end of #2 (Beta on Friday) so if you ever have any questions, let me know. :)
oooh - good luck!!! How exciting to be able to start IVF! Yay!
lol about the full bladder. I get like 4-5 u/s each month and each time the nurse says "have you emptied your bladder?" :)
Hola - good luck! I don't know if this helps any, but I'm 39 and am pregnant from my first IVF in June. I have PCOS, and like Mr Soapchick, my husband has some morphology issues, too, but it's all seemed to work out so far.
Sounds like you're responding well!
