R is apparently going to ovulate early, so after 16 hours of scrambling, she's getting on a plane in 3 hours to Chicago. Tarzan will pick her up and they will do an insem this evening all by themselves. I hope he can handle the syringe action without me. LOL. I am then going to take the day off from work tomorrow and leave Rochester at 6 AM to be in Chicago by 12 noon. At least then she won't be stuck at the hotel with no car, and with only Tarzan for entertainment.
Of course when R called me yesterday it threw me for a loop. I couldn't get her on a plane last night with my frequent flyer miles and I wasn't about to pay $800 for a last minute flight. Of course Tarzan is asking all sorts of questions: Is this normal? Why didn't she know she was going to ovulate early? Will the egg still be good? Also he wanted me to make the decision to either do the cycle or skip this month. As Kacy pointed it out to me, it's so he doesn't have to take the blame if it fails - of course that will fall all on R and me. Let's just pray that we catch the egg in time. I actually think doing the insem as close to ovulation as possible may be the key since Tarzan's sperm count is on the low end. We'll see.

Will be praying!
BTW, I had to laugh at Tarzan. Women do NOT automatically know when we're going to ovulate...geesh! Why does he think it takes many people awhile to get pregnant or even worse, why does he think there are so many unintentional pregnancies. If we knew when we were ovulating, it wouldn't be a problem...right! LOL!
Good luck today and drive safe tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
Never a dull moment. And would love to know how T does with the insemination without your hand holding. Smiling.
So is this two cycles that she's ovulating earlier than the day 18 she thought she'd ovulate at? Is she using sticks or fertility monitor or both?
Decisions are obviously difficult for T...I kinda feel for him having to make such a seemingly monumental decision (in his eyes) on a moments notice.
Hoping this is the egg for SO MANY REASONS!!!
