House and Move Update

Not much of an update, but here is the latest as of today (it changes every few days). Tarzan is thinking more about leasing our house instead of selling it as he cannot come to terms with the price it would sell at.  The good news is that we can get more for a lease than we could have 6 months ago. He contacted 2 leasing agents today, one of whom has an ex-pat family coming in late June for a 3 year assignment with Volvo or Volkswagen (I forgot already). I need to get the house cleaned in case the agent wants to see the house before Saturday.

Regarding a move to Chicago - not happening anytime soon.  Tarzan is feeling a bit unstable in his job because he can't stand his new boss. The new guy has been there less than 3 months, and according to Tarzan - has never worked in manufacturing before, and  is as dumb as a box of rocks. He is putting a lot of pressure on Tarzan, but with things that make no Quality sense (Tarzan works in Quality).  Tarzan has applied for a few internal transfers - some in his same location in Chicago and another in Orlando. However he doesn't think the boss will let him go because he needs him. At the same time he doesn't trust the new boss as far as he can throw him.  He is hoping the new guy falls flat on his face and is removed shortly. Therefore the cautious Tarzan can't make a decision about renting or buying in Chicago.  He really never could, but that is the latest reason in his head.  I'm just living my life and being patient. We have activities every weekend in June in MI anyway, so I can't move this month. I honestly think until or unless R gets pregnant, he won't be too motivated.   It's not good for the marriage, but we are making it work. Plus I'm having a ton of fun with my friends and animals.

Glad you're hanging in there with cautious T! Hoping things start feeling better for him at work and y'all can figure out living together again.

At least we get to enjoy you here for a little while longer. I'm still looking forward to dinner in a week or so! BTW, what's the special your hairstylist friend is offering. That's right near me and I could use a cut!
