Hi girls! Well I have survived my first week back at work and honestly it was pretty boring. Reason being is that my network ID is still not working - meaning I can't get to my email, can't get to our company intranet, etc. One would think that all of this would have been taken care of on Day 1, considering I work for one of the biggest IT companies in the world! Oh no, we're not too good at internal processes. I have 4 projects already and have tried to make a bit of progress on them, but it's difficult when I'm using my comcast email and telling someone that I really do work for this company, but I can't see your calendar, so can you tell me when you are available for a meeting?
On the donor front, I am chomping at the bit! Still waiting on the Cystic Fibrosis test result. However Monday will be 3 weeks and it should be back by then. We are moving forward under the assumption that she will pass the test and not be a carrier for CF. Therefore we've scheduled our Pre-IVF appointment for next Thursday to go over timing on BCPs, etc. Plan is for donor and I to go on BCPs at start of next periods - which will be 23 days from now for me since I just had my AF. The donor is a week behind me on her cycle. We'll be on BCPs for 2-4 weeks, and then we'll go into our DE cycle. Therefore I'm estimating ER to be early to mid May! Of course it could all be for naught if the CF test comes back positive. Hopefully not.

Sorry it's been such a drag at work with getting stuff accomplished. That's exactly how it is where I work too. Everything is sooooooo slow when it comes to getting someone set up with ID's and computers and such. It's seriously very annoying!
Hopefully it all gets fixed soon though so you can go back to being the star performer you've always been!
Yeah, I would love to get together for coffee sometime! Just let me know when you have a free morning or afternoon on a weekend. I am usually free including most of this weekend!
Wow how exciting to now have an estimated date. Most of the test for SF come back negative, so my doctor tells me. Good luck, i'm so excited for you! Just think in 6 months you could be pregnant!

Yeah, work is exciting in theory until you get there, isn't it? Ah well. I hope they get your stuff and and running quickly.
