TGIF

I'm so glad it's Friday!! 3 hours left to work today and then the weekend starts. It's not like I have anything exciting planned, but I just want to do something besides work.

The good thing about Tarzan being laid off is that he is fixing a lot of stuff in the house. He installed cabinet pulls in our kitchen. As I type this he is in our dining room taking the plastic wrap off the chairs (that he's had for 6 years). He is also going to fix the cat's climbing tree in the basement (it broke due to my fat cat Guido). Tarzan also made me lunch today!

I had one tragedy in the kitchen this week - my Pampered Chef 9 x 13 Stoneware baker cracked! Oh I'm so sad because I've had it for 10 years and I love, love, love cooking on Stoneware. It was seasoned to perfection. I'm not sure why it cracked - I made a roast in it on Tuesday night and when I was cleaning the pan I noticed a big crack on the bottom. Ugh. I know I can buy a new one, but they are not cheap and I'll have to season it all over again! I will definitely get another one though because I have the deep dome top that goes with the pan and that top is now discontinued. I love making chicken in my stoneware.

9 days until my period starts and I go on BCPs!

Sorry about your pan, that is so frustrating when something you have that just works perfectly breaks! All the extra hassle. But yay for starting the new cycle in 9 days - is your donor already on BCPs?

Glad Tarzan is doing some stuff around the house - I have to admit, having Al cook me dinner every night is a fantastic silver lining. Perhpas you can have T season your new stoneware by cooking you dinner several times?

Eep! Nine more days!

Can't believe it, but as I was saying...we decided to jump the surrogacy path. Thanks so much for always being concerned for us and telling me just that. I really appreciate it and it makes me feel good to know that you cared. Thanks so much, it means a lot ((hugs))
