Update on Grandma

Well it's looking like this may be the beginning of the end. The doctors cannot do the surgery on Grandma Flo because her heart rate and blood pressure are too low. She's also got some type of infection so she's on antibiotics and pain meds to keep her comfortable. My dad is there and he said she sleeps most of the time. They are going to let nature take its course, however my grandma is one tough cookie, so I wouldn't be surprised if she bounces back. Although since she is bedridden due to the hip, her quality of life is not good. We just hope she goes peacefully and is comfortable. Thanks for all of your nice thoughts ladies.

Sorry, Kelly. That's tough. The same thing happened with my great grandmother and it is a hard thing to watch.

Thinking about you all.

here from lost & found with lots of love for you & your family. Sounds like your Grandma is tough so I am praying for her to rally and get well enough for continued treatment.

I'm so sorry. It is the natural course of life but it is still so hard. I hope she isn't in any pain. I hope your dad is doing ok. It must be so hard for him.
