Grandma fell
and fractured her hip. My dad is on his way from Cleveland to northern Michigan. Grandma Florence may be in the hospital, but she is still spunky. She told the doctor that she won't let him operate until my dad arrives. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. They are not going to do a hip replacement on a 99 year old, but they are going to attempt to staple it or something.

go granny! Why wouldn't they put in a bionic hip for a 99-year-old? If she made it this far she's got another 10 years at least!!

99 years old? Amazing and I love that she's still telling people what to do! Hope all goes well...that's rough.
