Rejected
We were just rejected by AB in Iowa. It's not a surprise at all, as with the email of 10 days ago, and the canceled meeting in Iowa, the writing was on the wall. However it still hurts to be the rejected one. AB and I shared some very personal emails last week and I may have shared too much with her. I probably scared her away. However I think she wasn't honest with us all along and that is what hurts more than anything. I just can't imagine any surrogate not wanting to work with Tarzan and I, and thinking another couple was better than us, but oh well. Par for the course as usual. We are hoping to skype with AA from Oregon sometime this week.

Have you read this article:

Thinking about you. Hoping some other things are falling in to place to make this easier to deal with.
Hang in there.
She definitely didn't deserve to work with you and Tarzan at all! You guys are AMAZING people both individually AND as a couple. So it is definitely her lost. But hopefully this will be just the thing that Tarzan needs to get over his initial feelings about AA.
I will be praying!
(Sorry I'm late to this news) :(
uh...meant to be "her loss," not "her lost." I HATE typos!
So sorry hon! It sucks to be rejected, but I think this may be a blessing in disguise - can you imagine having this feelings about the woman carrying your child? I'm holding good thoughts for your oregon lady - hang in there!
I know how it hurts to be rejected, and I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Keep on listening to your heart, it'll never lead you wrong. I'm looking forward to hearing how the Oregon surrogate works out.
Any updates??? I keep checking!
