No surge yet, but went in for bloodwork and ultrasound this morning. Follicle is measuring 20mm, so Doc said he would look at the LH level in my blood and then call me this morning to let me know when the IUI would be. Well, he just called and told me to get my hubby there. Thankfully Tony went to his company's satellite office which is near the RE this morning, so he is only 5 minutes away. I'll go there in 90 minutes and voila - spermies will be inside me! Yippeeee! I have no idea if this will work or not considering our poor morphology, but honestly it will be the closest we've ever come to getting his sperm near my egg.
UPDATE - Back from IUI. It was over in a flash. Unfortunately the post wash sperm count was only 1.5 million, but as my doctor says - anything is possible and he's seen couples get pregnant with even less. As I've said all along, this IUI was just for fun. If I get pregnant I will be thrilled, but if I don't, then no big deal, we go into our IVF/ICSI cycle. Oh but we are doing another IUI tomorrow morning - sort of the double shot approach.
