Surrogate Search Update
Tarzan has been in contact with a couple of agencies. Already saw the profile of a potential TS from one of them. She's very cute and sort of looks like me. One agency is in Pittsburgh, the other has offices in NY and Philly. Not sure what we'll do next, but the process has begun. Oh and I want to win the lottery to pay for this.

How much are we talking, Kelly?
If we use an agency we are talking $40,000 minimum and that is if absolutely nothing goes wrong - no bed rest, no C-section, it works on the first insem try, no twins, etc. Realistically I think we are looking at $50,000 easily with an agency once you add in all of the incidentals (mileage, child care, maternity clothes, etc.). If we go without an agency and find a surrogate and a lawyer on our own, it could maybe be $35,000. Anyway you look at it, it's an enormous amount of money which means I won't be staying home - I'll be working full-time for a very long time.
