Surgery scheduled
for April 29th, although I may end up having to move it out since it's only 10 days after my PMP exam. I may have to move my PMP exam out a couple of weeks if I don't feel ready, and the exam trumps the surgery at this point in time. I will know in about 2 weeks how prepared I'm feeling for the exam, so I told the nurse I'd call her in early April if I needed to push the surgery out. The next date available was May 27th which I didn't want because that's the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, and Tony and I will probably want to do something fun that weekend and maybe go away. I don't want to be recovering from surgery - even though I heard it only takes a day or two.

Sounds like a good plan - it sure can't hurt to have him check around in there! Hopefully it will make all the difference. And honestly I had the surgery and went to Europe the next day - kinda crazy but it was the only time available. I was completely fine, although of course every surgery is different. Good luck!
Hopefully your timeline will stick, otherwise I'm sure it's a relief to know that you have a "plan b". Good luck preparing for your exam!
Yay! So happy things are all set! That's not too far away!
How's the studying coming? Hopefully you don't end up having to push the surgery out! But it wouldn't be the worst thing. Yes, I think it would be tough to go away the weekend after a Thursday surgery.
When I had mine on a Thursday I was able to go out on Saturday but I still wasn't feeling 100%. I wasn't up to doing a lot of walking although as long as I was sitting I felt pretty good.
But hopefully it will work out for April! I know you can do it!
