CA 125 - results won't be in until tomorrow

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Doc actually suggested an IUI cycle this month with Femara and Follistim. Nurse gave me a calendar, but when she called me with the hormones levels I told her we were not ready to do a cycle this month. I want to make a decision about whether or not to have the laparoscopy. Plus I really figured I was just going in for bloodwork this morning, not prepping for a cycle. Plus I want Tony to talk to the doctor on a phone consult and we have more questions that we want answered before we start doing IUIs with my less than stellar eggs.

In addition I've been getting daily headaches for going on 3 weeks now. At first I thought it was because I gave up coffee and switched to tea, so I was managing with Tylenol and ibuprofen, but they are just not going away. I stopped taking any medicine last Thursday so suffice it to say, I have been feeling like crap for several days now. Sometimes I can get the headache to go away by eating, other times by sleeping. I think they may be tension headaches caused by a very stiff neck and shoulders from sitting at a computer all day, or maybe I'm having blood sugar issues. I scheduled a massage for tomorrow night and may do one weekly for a while to see if that helps. Otherwise I'm going to have to find a new primary care doctor and schedule an appt. I haven't seen a regular doctor in about 4 years. Might be time.

So I'm sure most 41 year olds would be racing to do cycles as soon as possible, but since we weren't even considering my eggs anymore, to all of a sudden have a doctor who is recommending trying with my own eggs - well it's a complete mind shift. After 3 years of dealing with this stuff, I'm just not in a hurry anymore.
