New cycle, Patty's birthday!

I'm back from Dallas, had a good trip. My period started yesterday - woohoo, finally! Dr. M called me this morning to check in and I told him that I was just about to call him. So we are on for our IUI this month, then starting estrace on CD 19 in prep for IVF on the next cycle if I don't get pregnant on the IUI. I'm not expecting the IUI to work, but hey if it does, I'll celebrate!

Today is Patty's birthday and also my friend Cecilia's. Cecilia lives in Indianapolis. She's 42 today! Patty would also have been 42 years old today if she had lived. Of course in my mind she'll always be 34, it is difficult to imagine her getting older. In celebration of her life, here are some more pictures from our time in Spain. Several of us co-workers went to dinner: Linda and Louise from the UK, Roseanna and Antonella from Italy (Roseanna is the one who introduced my husband and I), and Patty and I. Clearly the sangria was flowing and so was the laughter. We were all in tears by the end of the evening from laughing so hard. The picture of me once again shows my fashionable 1995 attire and hair style! ha ha. Unfortunately I don't remember why were were laughing so much, but I'm sure it had to be because Louise was doing a funny impression or something. She was a hoot! I do remember having a rowdy, good evening! The last picture is one of Patty and I all dolled up on an evening out in Valencia....we thought we were hot stuff in our sexy little outfits! Happy Birthday Patty, I love you!
