Monday's update

My hubby is still in Europe, I think he flew to Slovakia today, but I'm not sure. I just know he is not here. Tentative date for his return is Saturday.

Dr. M called and they have an IVF protocol for me, so for my next cycle we will do a natural IUI (just for fun), but then on day 19 I'll start taking estrace in preparation for IVF the next month. I was caught off guard by his call so I forgot to ask him what my protocol was. I'll talk to the nurse later this week and find out.

I went to a soup exchange in my neighborhood Saturday night. It was a lot of fun. I didn't find out about it until last minute so I had to use whatever ingredients I already had and it ended up being 2 kinds of soup - lentil and then a 15 bean soup. I took my 6 individual quarts of soup and then came home with a carrot soup, a creamy green bean/chicken soup, pasta e fagioli soup, and a chicken tortilla soup. I've tried the carrot soup so far and it's delicious. Let me know if any of you want the recipes and I'll post them.

Soup exchange. What a fantastic idea! I need to float this out to my friends and then force them to participate.

That is PERFECT for me! Although, we are starting to get pretty warm around here. Soup exchange...great idea. Now you need to do a cookie exchange!

Thanks for stopping by again. The soup exchange sounds great, I'm a big fan of soup! I'd love to see your recipes sometime.

I'm excited to hear about your upcoming IVF, I hope it goes smoothly.

Only a member of the infertility community would consider an IUI the "natural" route. That made me laugh.

Good luck with your IVF, but really I hope my luck wish is moot because the IUI does the job.
