and I could be totally wrong, but even though I haven't met or skyped with her yet, I think the woman in Iowa is the one for us. She is known as AB #3 on the surrogate search post from last week. She is actually 24, not 26, but she's very mature for her age. She is married and has a toddler daughter. Her husband is 6 years older than her which may be why she seems so mature. Of the 3 potential surrogates who would be first time surrogates, she's the one I feel most comfortable about. She has done a ton of research about surrogacy, has asked me some awesome questions, wants to have a home birth with a midwife if possible, she does yoga (haha), would only be 2.5 hours from us in Chicago, and her fees are pretty reasonable. She's also very cute, although she is short at only 5'4". That's the only thing on my wish list that she doesn't have - height. Oh and curly hair, but none of the women we are talking to have curly hair. I let go of that dream a while ago. Even though she is short, her mom is 5'8" so you never know, we just may get a tall gene to counteract Tarzan's short genes. Or maybe not and we'll just have short kids - it's really not a big deal and it's just my own vain thing that I'm working on letting go.
I really like the woman in Oregon too, but I know Tarzan has concerns about the distance. We haven't skyped with her yet either. I'm not sure when we'll get around to skyping with the other 3 because Tarzan is probably not coming home this weekend.

I think that we as women usually have a strong feeling (i.e. intuition) about things. So I think you probably are right about it.
Hopefully Tarzan feels the same. But don't get discouraged if he doesn't at first. It took forever for Mike to come around with Ella. He was so worried about her health. But I always had a good feeling about her health.
