I'm going to Chicago tomorrow with Tarzan. Honestly I didn't want to go this week because it means I will miss 2 book clubs that I'm in. One with a group of girls, and another one that is at my yoga studio. However my marriage with Tarzan is more important I suppose and he really wants me to go this week. The good thing is that we are going to look at condos/houses. I have an appt. on Tuesday afternoon to go around with a realtor and look at some places. Then if I like any I'll take Tarzan back after he gets out of work. Tarzan looked at a couple on his own last week too. He still hasn't heard if/when he's going to Germany, so I don't know if we are moving in November, or not until the middle of winter.
Also not sure what to do with this blog. There are really only 2 or 3 people who even read it anymore since it's private, and there isn't any TTC news. I only write on it a couple times per month if that. Do I just keep it for when I want to write about things that I don't want to on my public blog? Or do I make a book out of it and close it? For the 2 or 3 of you who still read it, what's your advice?

I wouldn't necessarily close it. But I think making a book out of it is a good idea. Just so you always have a copy of everything. I was thinking of doing that someday. But think of how much others can learn from everything you've gone through. Have you considered making it not private again? That way those who haven't read your story yet might happen upon your blog and go back through and read. I did that a lot when I first started blog reading. I would find someone's blog and go back to the beginning and read!
Just a thought.
But just as long as you keep one blog open so I can follow along. Especially now that you are moving away....sniff sniff!

is there any harm in leaving it open or does the closure help? I'm reading, following, interested in everything, not just the TTC. You've taught me a great deal about appreciating the gift of each day and looking beyond personal struggles.

Kelly, I always read, I just don't comment much.
I'm checking in every once in a while. I think it's a good idea to keep it open and to post anything you don't want on your public blog. I think it's nice to have an outlet for yourself. I'd like to do one myself but think it would end up being a bunch of complaining and ultimately, just another way for me to put off doing the things I really should be doing :-) Anyhow, hope you're doing well in Chicago and finding a great place to live!
Hi - glad you are getting some Tarzan time, but that is a bummer about the bookclubs. I'm in one that is really hard to get to since I work nights, but I try to read the books.
I like reading your blog, but if you'd rather comment on the public one that is ok with me! Would like to follow along in the continuing saga whether or not you are ttc.
