You guessed it! Night 6 of Lupron and bingo wide awake. It happened a bit on night 5 as well, but tonight I got maybe 4 hours of crappy sleep before deciding just to get up and out of bed. Thank goodness it is Sunday and not Monday when I have to function at work. It is awesome though that in summer the sun rises so early - it's not up yet (4:50 AM), but it will be shortly!
Today we have a Father's Day celebration which includes mass in the morning and then a BBQ at Tarzan's parents. My dad is stopping over for lunch on Monday on his way back up north from Cleveland.
I had a crazy busy week - work is a little out of control right now, but I know it's only temporary. It should settle down by the first week of July. I went to a Tastefully Simple party at my sister's house on Thursday night - Tarzan drove me an hour to it - such a nice guy! He dropped me off and then went to Meijer for awhile before coming back to the party. He then took my nephew driving for practice - he's in driver's ed right now. I guess Tony worked with him on parallel parking. Then I went to a book swap on Friday early evening and got rid of a bunch of books and collected some new ones.
Friday night Flamingo Friday (our neighborhood party) got canceled due to rain, so my friend and neighbor Ann invited some of us over to her house. We drank wine (which I need to stop in another week), laughed and also learned that she and her hubby and kids are moving back to Boston at the end of the summer. I'm sooooooooooo sad and bummed!! Ann is the one woman in this subdivision with whom I had really bonded. She's so much fun, so nice, and always organizing girl's nights out! Thank God for Facebook, we'll be able to keep in touch that way. She is from Boston and her hubby is from Long Island and they moved here from Boston 2 years ago, but they are moving back because of his job. Ann is also the owner of Bogey and Kelly (click here to see pics), the two dogs whom I take care of whenever they go out of town. I'm known as the dog walker. They get so excited when they see me come over because it's usually to take them for a walk. I took them for a walk last night in fact and I will do so again tonight. You see the dogs are moving to Boston on Tuesday!!! Oh no! Ann and the kids are going to Boston for 2 weeks and then coming back, but the dogs are elderly, so they are taking them now to stay with her brother while they come back and deal with packing and moving. I have to get a picture of me with the dogs. I'm so sad because Kelly is most likely in her last year of life - she's a lab and is slowing down. My goodbye on Monday night will be a forever goodbye - Lord help me - I'm crying already.
Oh and Saturday night Tony and I hung out at Ann and Steve's - 2nd night in a row for me and their son Cole beat Tony in the game of chess. He's turning 8 next month - that is one smart kid! haha.

when's the chess rematch? ;-)
I hope you have fun at the BBQ today! We're having one at my sisters later on!
We should definitely do a coffee date! I'm available next Saturday. I have step aerobics and yoga in the morning so anytime after 11:30 would work.
Or if you'd rather do first thing in the am, maybe Sunday would work? We usually go to 6:30 pm mass.
Miss ya! Sorry to hear about your friend leaving the area and also the sleepless nights, ugh! :(
Sorry to hear about your friend moving...hope your body adjusts to the Lupron soon. I hated that stuff. :)
I totally envy you with the nice neighbors, i dont' have any ones i hang out with and wish i did. Sounds like a fun filled weekend.
As to the 'anouncement', they should of let you know ahead of time what was going on and Tarzan should of been more sensative to you finding out this way. I think people who have never gone through infertility just don't get it, and that's sad because we could all learn to be a little more sympathetic sometimes.
I have my fingers crossed for you on this try, good luck!
