I don't have much to write about, but I thought I'd check in since it has been a week. I am pretty much over the bronchitis and feeling way better. I do think I'll have to write a letter of appeal to Blue Cross Blue Shield because I called them and they say my plan does define necessary and non-necessary trips to the ER. So as my diagnosis was just bronchitis and not pneumonia or a blood clot, they will probably try to make me pay. I called the hospital and they won't change any of the paperwork, but they said they'd help me with my letter of appeal if it is necessary. We'll see what happens. Does anyone out there work at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas who would have some pull? haha.
I should be back to work sometime next week. My redeployment should be approved any day now. It is at the CEOs level and has been approved umpteen times to get there. Granted he could deny it, but I am feeling hopeful and confident that it will get approved. My cool boss is tracking it for me and fighting to bring me back! In the meantime I'm enjoying my 7 week vacation!
I'm going to Chicago this weekend - Saturday to Monday, for a wholesale show at the Chicago Mart for my soap business. This is our first wholesale show, so hopefully it will go well and we'll get some new accounts.
No news on the donor, she is still waiting for her period to start in order to be tested. Tarzan and I are meeting with another girl next week as a back up in case the first donor doesn't pass the medical screening due to her wonky menstrual cycles. The back up girl is also local, Italian, young and in college. She also has curly hair! haha.

A walk with you when the weather improves would be so fun! Have a safe trip to Chicago and I hope the donor keeps working out. ((hugs)
Good luck with the insurance nonsense, I hope they don't give you too much trouble.
It sounds like you'll be back to work in no time. Good luck.
It's nice that you are moving forward with the donors. I hope one of them works out for you guys!
Chicago sounds cold.
Glad they keep coming in with curly hair. I understand as well because I have the curliest hair.
Sounds like some progress on the work front, come on CEO just approve already!!!
The wholesale show sounds fun!! Did you ever tell us how you got in the soap bussiness??
Thankd for your comments on my blog!
Oh Kelly! How could you condemn your future child with curly hair...LOL! I've been fighting my curly hair my whole life.
Then again, maybe curly hair will be back in style by they time he/she is born! ;)
So glad you are feeling better now!
I admit, I am a little jealous of your 7 week break! (even though I'm sure it sucks to not have that income) I was in heaven with a 2.5 week break...7 just sounds like a dream! And I wouldn't even care that we didn't get paid! I would eat mac and cheese every night so we could afford it. Ha Ha!
Good luck with donor stuff though! I'm so excited that you're getting ever closer to get going again!
As for my classes, unfortunately they wont be over by you. Even though I'll be at OU, the classes are offsite at Riverview Hospital in Downtown. :( But we will still have to all get together again for lunch soon!
thanks for your words of support...it means a lot.
that's fucked up - how did you know it ~wasnt~ pneumonia or a blood clot? fuckers.
