Making FAST Progress on the Contract

• R, Tarzan and I reviewed it and discussed our questions/revisions over the weekend
• I typed up a fabulous spreadsheet outlining our questions/revisions (being a Project Manager really comes in handy in this process), and sent it to our lawyer last night.
• She had the revised contract in my inbox by 11 AM today
• R and I reviewed it one more time. Tarzan deferred to me
• No changes were necessary so I sent our approval to my lawyer at 4:30 PM
• Our lawyer sent the contract to R's lawyer for review and told her we would like it signed by the end of the week!
• We are actually going to sign it in TX next week so I don't have to go to IL to have an IL Notary Public sign my page.  Our lawyer didn't want a MI Notary to sign it due to the contra-surrogacy laws in MI.
• Tarzan is driving home on Saturday and we have all next week off! We'll fly to Dallas on either Monday or Tuesday.
• I'm starting to stage our house and pack stuff up. No house in Chicago yet, but we are getting close!
• Sorry I haven't been commenting on your blogs ladies, my excuse is that I've been getting really bad headaches daily for the past 3 weeks and being on the computer all day and night is not helping. I've been really cutting down my after work computer time.  I'll write soon I promise, but please know that I am reading and enjoying your blogs as always!
