Happy 1st Anniversary

Today is our first wedding anniversary. It's so hard to believe that we have been married for an entire year already. Time has totally flown by, and it seems like just yesterday I was walking down the aisle towards Tony. Our wedding was spectacular, truly my dream wedding and I am glad we have the memories. We are going to watch our video later....well at least I am. Tony is watching football right now, the Detroit Lions are actually good this year! We were supposed to go to Sacred Heart for mass this morning (where we got married), but my nephew had stayed the night after going to the UM/MSU football game with Tony, so we had to drive him an hour home this morning. Therefore after the Lions game we are going to go over to the church and walk around the grounds and say a prayer....that's our compromise. Tony did get me another band of diamonds around my wedding ring set, and it is spectacular. I've been nibbling on the top of our wedding cake too. Hmmm yummy, pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting - delicioso!

We are going back to see the doc on November 20th. In the meantime I'm going to start on a new diet, one I've read about in the book The Infertility Cure. I've had this book for 7 months, and I did the acupuncture, but I certainly didn't make enough of the diet changes. It's not a diet to lose weight, but rather cutting out food that are not good for my ovaries and eating more foods that are. I'm also going to be going on some new supplements - royal jelly, COQ10, and DHEA. I've got probably 90 days to try to affect the health of my eggs before we try IVF again.

Saw your comment in my blog...glad you approved of me making Scott call the clinic. ;)

I've heard about that diet...I hope it works wonders for you. I just really feel like Fakih can make things happen for you. 90 days will fly by with the holidays coming up.

Happy Anniversary a little late...I stumbled upon your blog via Cycle Sista. I'm also going to be starting IVF#2 soon (after the holidays). Look forward to hearing about your journey!
